My name is Butch, I grew up in Hood River, attended elementary through high school. After Graduating I joined the military, and received a honorable discharge. After my military career I taught swimming lessons for the Parks & Recreation District, and Windsurfing for C.G.W.A.

In 1998 I was given an opportunity to work for a local garage door company, where I was taught this trade. In 2005 I decided it was time for me to try and run my own business, but I still had my loyalty with the company that helped me, and chose to start from scratch and not ask their clients to leave with me. So I focused on maintenance and “subbing” myself to him and other garage door companies. In came the “big box”stores, first one, then two, then a “shed/garage” manufacturer. At one point I was installing for 5 stores and covering an area from Astoria, Or. to Arlington, Or and Long Beach, Wa.  to Eugene, Or.
